eepe-Unable to check for updates error

I have the latest version of eepe. When eepe starts displays this error
"Unable to check for updates"
If I try it from the help menu, it does check (no updates available in this case) and then displays the error again..
Is there anyone else having the same issue?

yes ...and seems also to be the case for older ver ...let me check that again ... yes have same error on v302 so must be something on the server side .... erm nope can't be, companion still works ..../me looks at erazz

This is just a guess but perhaps could have something to do with some change erazz did so companion can do the automatic eeprom backups when flashing the er9x.. Again it's just a guess

I had to downgrade and re upgrade eepe for the fix to kick in, but can confirm all is well again

PS it is not 3am everywhere, here it is 09h00

It's working now.. Thanks Erazz.
Before going to help and check for updates returned no updates available.. after the fix found v699 imeaditely.. that means that it was really not getting the updates..

Yeah, it was getting the stamp but reading it incorrectly.
I kinda pathced it quickley and am now working on a more permenant fix.
