hi, i tried to make a mix in order to get a beep each time a channel is triggered.
and i mixed this channel so it trigger itself in a proportional speed,
if THR is in a low position then it trigger slow, if its in high position then it trigger quick, its proportional
the main problem is the beeping is not proportional, it just beep once a few seconds,
is there any way to get a proportional beep to know just by sound how high/low is the stick position?
or due the way "beeps" are programmed this is impossible ?
thnks

I don't belie e there are any functions in the system open9x/er9x to set the beep length like this!

I will see what can be done to get a feature into open9x to do this.
Will be a bit harder in er9x as their is no function in place to configure this!
Although... I have not tried mikes laters version so may be wrong

Re: Proportional Beeping
I just have created a "playchannel" branch in open9x for this feature. For the moment, the function only calls the playVario(channel value). I don't know what would be needed? A variable frequency? A variable length? Both?

Re: Proportional Beeping
hi,
the idea was have some kind of short beep able to be played very quickly,
i guess variable frequency will be useful just for those people with a speaker mod in the radio, so no needed, neither a variable length, as the length will be fixed but repeated very quickly commanded by a self triggered switch.
Just like a mix for a strobe light, but for a beep.
let me show you the idea with an eepe
--
RUD Switch activate the mix.
ch14 is configured to play a beep each time its triggered, and when the mix is active, ch14 trigger itself in a proportional speed based in the THR stick position.
--
CH15/C16 are just for the mixing purpose
hope that helps
