Er9x test versions

This is NOT intended as a thread for discussions, just as somewhere I can put test versions of er9x for people to try out.
The idea is I'll put a specific test version on here, with a reason why it is here. Later, when I have something else to test I'll remove that one and replace it with another.
This should stop lots of test versions all over the forum, and help avoid the forum taking up more space on the server than it needs to.

I have installed on my TX:

er9x-R811
Version: V1.532-Mike
date 03.21.2014
mod: FRSKY - 128

I use EEPE program (version prior to 411).

My question is:

You may not copy EEPE in some pc setup menus of my radio?

For example, after copying all my models on the pc, I find the saved copy menu scales .... (SC1, SC2 ..... etc)

It is possible that the version of the program used EEPE not have ability to copy these menus from the radio tx to my pc?

I have thought that copying models from the pc to the transmitter radio, to review the SC1, SC2 menus, surprise !! .... Missing data SC1, SC2 etc ....

You believe that you need to update EEPE to solve this problem?

The latest eepe version is 412. You may downloadit from here: https://code.google.com/p/eepe/source/b ... nstall.zip.

The definitely works reading the Scalers from the radio, I just tested it.

I have installed on my TX:

I have made the telemetry mod and it work well, but with this firmware version the THR and AIL switches are not working.
Any way to activate the switch mod in this version?

SORRY!! i can see now the option telemetry mod don in the "general configuration"

The only thing I can't configure is the number of channels in the PXX D16 protocol, this is a really important feature because in a Taranis we can change from 16CH to 8CH and the frame size is reduced from 18ms to only 9ms.

In the disclaimer of your latest test version it shows "Correct MULTI FrSky CH_16 and CH_8"
Is this the same feature I am talking about? if not could it be possible to add this feature?

Hello Mike, I got a small problem again. I bought the very cheap transmitter Turnigy 9x with AFHDS2A protokol. I can not bind with the er9x software, r820. the default binding PPM and the stored "multi" file with AFHDS2A does not get any binding. Is that a big problem or should I get a 4in1 module. would ersky9x run in this station? Sincerely, Siegi

Please try using PPM but change the POLARITY to NEG.

Thanks Mike, I've already tried all possible settings. the receiver does not matter, the flashing of the lamp is always the same, no twitch. I'm not an individual case, in the review has written one that after the installation of er9x no binding was possible, only with a multi-module. thanks, and best regards, Siegi

It was reported there that all worked when using PMM with NEG polarity.

Hello Mike, thank you very much for the info. I have been able to bind only one receiver in the delivery condition. the second he accepted but without function. I then had to tie the first receiver again. Now with er9x-d I have been able to bind the original with many different binding methods. I was also able to tie the 2nd FS IA6B, but the servos did not work. I could not tie a 3-passenger TGY IA6. I suspect that the transmitter module AFHDS2A has a binding weakness. warm regards Siegi

hello, in my Turnigy 9x I have installed er9x, version 820th now I would like to load the test version 820 and have problems. PC, Programmer is equally the driver. With the software load command, the eepe program starts correctly and one thinks it is completely compromised. After a short while the eepe stops and the info follows: Loading not possible. I have a riddle, have tried many things like other drivers, other programmers, but the final loading was not possible. What I do not understand, I could load the standard software. Thank you
