Where to get a compatible USBasp in US?

Post by slowjett »

So I just bought 2 usbasp's but apparently they were not the correct device.. they show up as HID-compliant device not USBasp and arvdude can't talk to them.. Im pretty bummed wanted to get this radio programmed by thursday. Anyone know if I can make this device work? Or if there a distributor of a working device in the North East US? How can I tell if its a workign device and not a mx-usbisp variant that wont work?

Any clue if I can use the USBISP programmers I have for flashing ESC's or to somehow flash my 9x?

Thanks
upgraded your shipping to priority as you requested. Hopefully it will get to you in time. I think it will cause your not too far away.

Some of those non-usbasp programmers can be reprogrammed as actual usbasp's. There is a thread on here from Flaps30 I think detailing how. Since you have 2 programmers it may be possible to use whatever software comes with those programmers to reflash the other programmer with real usbasp firmware. I gotta head to work now :(

The easiest thing to do is wait till Thursday for the real usbasp :)
