Is the hardware closed for suggestions?

Post by chist »

Hi, every body!

Is the hardware closed for suggestions or not yet? I just thought, as there is a fairy filfilling our wishes, may be I can make couple? :)

Me and my friend are developing and flying Su-35 FPV model:

So, It wound be nice to have on back side a thumb joystick (like this https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9032) under left forefinger for camera pan and tilt control, as a replacement for a head tracker.
Force sensetive button (like this https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9888) whould be nice to have under right forefinger for wheel brakes.
And a couple of simple buttons for gunfire and missile launch. :) All these controls on back side of the TX.

I think, this additions would be interesting not only for us, others could find their own applications for them. This would make Taranis far ahead of many hi-end radios.

Actialy, I think it's in production state now, so It's certainly late. But, if you want your wishes come true, you should tell them :)
May be someone would like your wish. :) What do you think?

Yep too late. But these are easy mods to do yourself, just a bit of wiring :)

It should become, yes. You can however simply reuse existing switch/pot connections as is.
