FIXED-Companion doesn't download voice pack for m128

when selecting the stock board with Atmega 128 and then try to download the voice files, it returns a web page error..
If I select the stock board (m64) it opens the link ok and I can download the files..

It looks for a directory http://85.18.253.250/voices/open9x-stock128/ but that directory doesn't exist only http://85.18.253.250/voices/open9x-stock/ exists

That would be if you have an old companion9x version. as open9X is now openTx the folder names have changed. It points correctly to http://85.18.253.250/voices/opentx-stock128/en/ here.

Looks like I might have to wait a while until the new Companion version 1.22 becomes available in 32 bit Ubuntu DEB form before thinking about changing the TX firmware to version 2215. Could be wrong of course.

Just downloaded the new standard English 16 bit sound pack. I didn't spot a listing of what the voice files are. You wouldn't happen to have that list João?

Ohhh! ... Hang on! .. Just noticed that the file I was directed to (http://85.18.253.250/voices/opentx-stock128/en/) from the new version of Companion happens to be one that was modified on the 23-Nov-2012..

Thanks for that João. The list looks nothing like what was in the sound pack I downloaded from the link I gave in my previous post. So for now I'm assuming that the sound pack that is on the Opentx site is the old one.. Perhaps you are one step ahead in creating the 22Khz pack and the 16K pack has yet to be created,

I haven't loaded up the new firmware into the TX for now until more information is available as to what is going on with the voice packs with regard to firmware versions.

Okay.. The files I downloaded start at 0000 and go through to 0285. From your list I see that files go up to 0503.. So something isn't right.

Okay.. So your files are for the Megasound card with the stock M64/M128 to work with Companion 1.22 and the latest version of firmware.

I have the Emartee module so I cannot use the files given in your link as I rely upon what Companion has for me to download. So if you are right. That means we need a voice pack to be created for the Emartee module to work with the latest (version 1.22) Companion and Version 2xxx whatever Opentx firmware.

With the new numbering scheme, which number ranges are reserved?

I notice 150+ appear to be used for model names. Does that mean any custom files should go between 150-255?

Custom files between zero and 255.. system files from 256 onwards.. I think that is it.. I just used 150 and up for models.. could have been 200 and up.. it doesn't really matter as the files used for alarms, numbers, etc, are in the right place..

@Flaps30. you could do the same I did. I renamed all my files Then you won't need to download new ones.

Ok, Guys companion is downloading the files for the emartee module.. but it seems they were not generated with the right script.. so give it a little while and it will be fine It's being fixed now..

Thanks João. Downloaded the sound file as per Companion link. It looks good. But it is very confusing as to how the CSV file is presented. It makes it very difficult with regard to creating your own files (as one does) and what file numbers you you can allocate to them. I won't go as far as to call it a mess. But it is pretty close as to being not very logical. Just my opinion of course. No doubt there is a good reason for all of the changes.

Yep, the reason is to make it simpler... before there were a few system files here and there, and you had a limited range somewhere in the middle for your own files. Now you have the whole 0-255 range for custom files, all the system stuff is above and outside of the selectable range.

That starts to make sense Kilrah. I have noted that according to the jumbled CSV file (not done in WAV file order) that the files 0000 through to 0035 are allocated.

Yep, but these are considered custom files. They're not used by the system nor assigned to anything by default, they're there for you if you want them, but if you want you can delete them from the card and replace them with some of yours.

I think it's still not the right one.. what's the number of the last file? 509 or 503? If 509 it's still not fixed
If you want to fix it yourself rename the files 486 and above by subtracting 6.
486-6=480. rename the file to 0480. wav
Do the same to the other 5 or 6 files
