1. I probably dont understand what "Check Firmware Compatibility" is supposed to do.
When I check it when try to download a set of models, it looks like its going to start to download. Then it terminates c9x. The Microsoft Windows window just shows ' companion9x.exe has stopped working windows is collecting more info.....'


2. using the "Customize Your TX" 'Custom Splash' I load the current firmware 1726, laod my image, save to hex sequence. The ...1726.hex file changes size from 139KB to 333KB. How do I get my custom splash screen to download?

This is in Windows Vista using C9x V1.10 Rev 1582.

My companion9x on linux does also crash when checking the compatibility checkbox. Using revision 1583.

I will check the issue this evening after work, pretty sure it's a regression introduced with variants..
