Hi there,
I was not able to find it, maybe it is not included yet. Can I get a value by GPS that shows me directly at my RC-Tx the distance travel that I have flown? Not the distance to the model: the total travel distance...
Or how can I implement it?
Thanks,
Marcel

Hi Carbo, thanks for the Link. I'm using openXsensor on a Jeti DC-24 Transmitter. Tried it, compiled it, always error: did not work. Is there a possibility for Jeti Transmitters?

My fault, the script is for OpenTX only.
Travelled distance with GPS
Hi,
there are several values given, when a GPS is connected to the oXs but I am missing one which is standard on other sensors.
This is the total travelled distance during the flight.
Would be nice to have this implemented as an additional value.
A filter to avoid large steps when the GPS reception is limited would be great (something like not increasing more than a definable max. speed).
Best regards
Onki

Re: Travelled distance with GPS
Hi,
Thanks for this link but this is a Lua script working with OpenTX.
I am using Jeti so I cannot use this script.
But maybe these threads can be merged.

As far as I know, GPS has such a function, but unfortunately I do not know how to find it.Also, it probably depends on the model of your device and the built-in features. My dad definitely has it. I still travel by trains and planes. In general, it seems to me that traveling by public transport is more environmentally friendly. In the city, I prefer the subway or bike. This is how I reduce the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere. And when I want to visit a new place, I usually buy a train ticket using the db fahrplan service.
