D4FR telemetry mod

Post by Crucial »

I just finished modding my D4FR rx to output the lipo battery voltage instead of reporting the rx voltage. All credit has to go to Kilrah. I copied his mod.

The mod is quite simple really. You have to cut a track on the circuit board and then solder a single wire to the rx. This wire then connects to the pos+ line of your battery. The built in divider is 1:4 so you can measure battery voltage up to 13.2V and this is what you set your A1 telemetry reading to.

Here are 2 pics showing where to cut the track and solder the wire.

Please NOTE: D4FR is now been suspended and no longer accept orders.

Also, we have lunched our new MTC-F: DHT-U Module Trainer Connection for Futaba.

Save your time from soldering. ;)

Yep, and I'll keep my D4FRs too for the tiny things are they're smaller than the new D4RIIs.
Don't talk of VD5M, even if they look good on paper something with <150m range simply is unuseable.

Well.. they are really more for the 'indoor' flyers :-)
Slope Soaring, FPV, and pretty much anything 'high tech'
...........if you think it should be in the wiki.. ask me for wiki access, then go add it!

I think I'll stick with Spektrum for the tiny things - Their "parkflyer" RX that's used in the sbach and other UMX thingies didn't give me a single glitch at 700m :D
