Good work on documentation and openXconfigurator.
For "thermal hunting" you need TEK-probe. If you want, add this to wiki:

Re: OpenXSensor project page on google code
Is this still the correct place where the code is?
If so, what, if any, plans are there given Google Code is closing down?

Re: OpenXSensor project page on google code
@Mike,
OpenXsensor and openXvario are still on GoogleCode.
I saw your post yesterday saying it will be closed.
I presume we will move the 2 sites to GitHub using the button foreseen for the migration.
I asked davx to look at this but I did not yet got an answer.
The sites are quite simple; so I hope it will be easy.
I think we can put some updates on GoogleCode up to august and every body can view and donwload up to the end of 2015. So we still have some time to migrate.

Re: OpenXSensor project page on google code
@Mike, @mstrens
I'ts better to migrate sooner than later, I would say as soon as possible.
Lot of googlecode project are facing "multiple" migrations by single users (there is at least an OpenXsenor Reposistory "migrated" from googlecode) - so for some project this is bringing lot of confusion (no one single "official" repository but a multitude of migrated repository from official Google Code)
What I sugget is:
- create an openxsensor github organization, with actual developers partecipating;
- migrate the repository (better if in multiple repository, e.g. one for configuration, one for the main code, one for the wiki and one for the boards.
I can volunteer to create both the organization and the repository but:
- I can't be an admin (all my (small) work on this code has just been local hacks on my local branch)
- All active developer should have an account in Github...

Re: OpenXSensor project page on google code
@sfabris and everyone,
I'm already looking into migrating openXsensor and I will follow your advice about organization.
I don't know yet if I'll make different repo for code, configurator... I think it should be possible to keep all in one repo without too much confusion, will see.
Bye.

Re: OpenXSensor project page on google code
@davx,
seeing the message of sfabris and thinking that it was as simple as clicking on a button, I went on google.com and clicked on the button "export to github".
I saw that it created a repository mstrens/openxsensor (with some branches).
As it is not expected having "mstrens" in the repository, and seeing that there was already several other repository for openxsensor, I follow the recommendation of sfabris and I created an organisation named openXsensor.
This organisation is created but is still empty and have no members.
I suppose that you can use it for the future openxsensor site.
Let me know if I have to do more (e.g. adding you as admin).

@mstrens,
Ah ok, it's you who created openXsensor organization, I've tried to create it and the name was already used
You can add me (davxlw) as member of the Owners team if you wish.

Re: OpenXSensor project page on google code
The result of the automatic conversion is currently in "mstrens/openxsensor" but in the future the offical repository should be in an organisation "org/openXsensor".
Currently oprg/openXsensor is created but is empty.
davx will make the set up in org/openXsensor.
I can invite Mike and Rainer to join as owner but I need their github name.

Re: OpenXSensor project page on google code
Hi everybody !
I've just set the new official openXsensor repository in the organization created by mstrens:
https://github.com/openXsensor/openXsensor
As you can see, I've decided to split the configurator from OXS for practical reasons and I'll set it up later in a new repository of this same organization.
A lot of work remains to transfer the wiki, but github will give us some new possibilities

There's something that doesn't look quite right here:

"Simulate_Multiplex_Rx" "add a sequencer in order to control digital outputs (e.g. for a light… "

Re: OpenXSensor project page on google code
In fact "Simulate_Multiplex_Rx" is not related to the "sequencer". Its is a small sketch I made to simulate a multiplex Rx in order to test this protocol in oXs.jhsa wrote:Thanks..

So this sketch should have been already uploaded in a previous version of oXs. This mistake was already present in google.com site.

Re: OpenXSensor project page on google code
I need, probably, to get an openXsensor running to sort a problem someone has. I built an openXvario, and it looks like I may have flashed it with openXsensor code in July 2014.
Has the hardware wiring changed since then?
Also, I was looking for the source code. We don't seem to have an obvious reference from here to it. I had to go to the googlecode page and find the link to Github there. Since googlecode is archiving everything from the beginning of next year, perhaps we need a "sticky" thread showing where the source is.
Where, for new builders, are the hardware assembly details, other than on googlecode?
Mike.

Re: OpenXSensor project page on google code
Mike,
did you had a look at the wiki (for openXsensor) on github?
Wiring (and other) instructions are given there.
Probably it would be good to add a comment on the readme page to say that more details are available in the wiki.
This part was created and maintained by davx but he does not seem active anymore on the forum.
What do you mean with a "sticky" thread? Is it a special thread in this forum?

A "sticky" thread is always at the top of the list of threads. This thread is a "sticky" one.
No, I didn't look at the wiki. I still haven't got used to Github. I have, however, cloned the oXs repository, re-built my openXvario, and hope to flash it all later today.
