Slow down sale of T9X
Slow down sale of T9X
well, looks like the 9x people would have plenty of 9x tx box to use.
I am looking at the HK T9X, I have never seen it is in stock for so long (> 2 days).
Looks like with the newer Tx announcement, there will be a big chunk of people buying the new Tx than the T9X form now on.

Re: Slow down sale of T9X
Worth remembering... It is only the turnigy 9x that is changing.
Eurgle, flysky etc will probably all remain as is

Re: Slow down sale of T9X
Any buddy codes for a th9x, no rf module?
I may pick up one more just for spare parts. Next question.
What do we know about the future of the DJT module? Do we think the newer TXs will phase out plug in modules?
I guess as long as eagle, FlySky and JR radios are available there will be a demand.
I've saved my old reliable, heavy, JR's from the past that use a module so I think I should buy a few spare DJTs. The idea is to keep working radios so I can fly no matter what.
I wonder what the new Frsky tx will use?

Re: Slow down sale of T9X
Flysky is showing this: http://www.flysky-cn.com/eShowProducts.asp?id=56. I assume it's meant to replace the 9x. It's possible that the 9x will go out of production. The Turnigy 9XR may end up being the only option for the current 9x universe. Could turn out to be a smart move on HK's part if Flysky abandons all the open source work that made their Tx so popular.Rob Thomson wrote:Worth remembering... I already can see some one is going to flip the wrong toggle on the right side while flying.

Re: Slow down sale of T9X
I was thinking the same thing about the switches. Probably a cheap touchscreen which is worse than menu buttons. I doubt it accepts modules either.

Perhaps they will discover they won't get so many sales then.

Re: Sv: Slow down sale of T9X
The picture looks like a computer rendering. Besides the pretty looks there are so many things about it that are strange that you have to hope that it is a test balloon. If they go ahead and produce the radio they will have a tough time selling it.
But it is pretty. Most radios, even the expensive ones, look like cheap plastic toys.

Re: Slow down sale of T9X
and you think Flysky is going to put some 'expensive' plastic on there.
Re: Slow down sale of T9X
Totally agree, first thing I thought when I saw it. 4 switches in a group like that is asking for troublekaos wrote:I already can see some one is going to flip the wrong toggle on the right side while flying.

Re: Slow down sale of T9X
why tx with no module? only 5 dollar difference, rip the module out, use the box for your other module. that box cost more than 5 dollars when bought alone.ShowMaster wrote:Any buddy codes for a th9x, no rf module?

Re: Slow down sale of T9X
Ok, any buddy codes for a th9x with a module and RX?
About switches.
Most new modelers don't know what the switches are for. If the price is low ($100 or less) they'll sell and if the display is a color touch screen who can resist? In all honesty one would think they did their research before releasing the pictures?
But again.....

Re: Slow down sale of T9X
I don't think HK ever has a buddy code for that. There are items they just don't have buddy code. I have seen many items I bought without buddy code. of course they usually are hot selling items.
But, looking at the inventory build up gradually when new Tx is out, they may start a buddy code on T9X.

Re: Slow down sale of T9X
Thanks Kaos.
I thought I'd ask. My favorite 9x is the FlySky because it came with the antenna on the module. I don't think there's a low price source now so I'll buy a HK 9x spare.

Re: Slow down sale of T9X
hobbypartz TH9X is cheaper when you figure the shipping in:
http://www.hobbypartz.com/79p-th9x-r9b- ... radio.html
free shipping above 50.00 and it is from CA, you probably can have it in 4-5 days.

There's been a photo around of one on a booth at a fair, powered on. So I'd guess it's pretty final.dvogonen wrote:The picture looks like a computer rendering.

Re: Slow down sale of T9X
Or she typo'd 2012!
Re: Slow down sale of T9X
It's Chinese calendar they use.
Re: Sv: Slow down sale of T9X
In that case they released the transmitter 2736, 2696 or 2697 years ago
Re: Slow down sale of T9X
I don't think you figured out chinese wording code correctly yet. I thought the manual they provided never makes any sense to me. It is a complicated coding system. If you do it right. you will come out the right numbers .
