On OpenTX, when using high amounts of trim (as you might on a first flight), when the rates are then changed (triple rates set to a switch), this change alters the trim setting.

(Calibration done several times, no improvement)

You're doing it wrong - rates should be implemented in INPUTS, not in the mixer. Trim gets processed between the 2.

Thanks for reply.

I was doing it in Mix along with reversal as if you reverse the Inputs (which it allows) the trim does not reverse with it (as with Taranis).

So, INPUT for Rates/Expo, MIX for reversal?

Well it depends what kind of "reversal", but yes.

In menu internal RF, DSMX only shows channels 1 - 6. Should be 16? Is this a SW bug in opentx 2.2?

There should not be any DSMX for Internal...

If you're looking at External, that's for use with the "hack module" made with parts form a DX4/DX5. Those don't support more than 6 channels.

One of the great things about OpenTX is you can often get the same result from four different methods, it's also a bit dangerous. You could use MIXES for rates and expo, but the generally accepted way to do things is like this:

- INPUT screen handles physical controls and modifications to a single control. Rates, expo, etc. go here.
- MIXES are where you map one or more INPUT lines to a channel. If you want a little of down elevator, when you increase the throttle or you doing delta wing mixing, that goes here.
- OUTPUTS are where you do final adjustments to channel values. Subtrim, travel adjusment, center adjustment, go here.
