Switch RF Module automatic when select another protocoll ?

Hello,

i look at the schematic of the 9x and find out, that the PC0 pin is also unused. I have FrSky and Spektrum in my transmitter. At the moment i use a "hardware" switch to switch between the two RF Modules. Is it possible to get following:

Model 1 select ( Protocoll PPM ) -> PC0 = 0
Model 2 select ( Protocoll DSM ) -> PC1 = 1

???

You can use both, pump channel x to ppm x.

At least that's what I understand from what is in the new firmwares.

Sorry, but i don´t understand.

Does the PC0 ( free Pin on Atmega ) already change, when i switch to another protocoll ?

I don't think that is a good idea, but there's a spare output on the voice mod board that could be used for something like this? I still think that is too dangerous though..
