I´m no good with electronics but i have ideas.
A new Turnigy 9x coming my way , transforming it to Frsky 9x thanks to you guys.
Complete with altimeter , gps and triaxial acceleration.
It would be fun if it was possible to logg the whole flight and to be able to merge it with google earth.

Best regards ,Hasse. :?: :?: :?:

Yes a was awere about the FRSKYboard , but my question was if it´s any chance of
getting the data you get back from the FRSKY telemetry unit DHT in my case.
To a laptop with bluetooth connection , for data logging purpose.(In my case a blackbox after a crasch.)
Or for others to lay the path of the flight out on google earth , for instance.

So now my head is really spinning but i think like this:

Find where DHT gets:

Ground connect to pin1
3.3 volts connect to pin2
Tx connect to pin 7

Is that right.
Oh my poor head , i´m no good at this..... :D

Best regards Hasse

I already used this one on the FrSky module.

Just add 3,3v, a TTL-Converter (needed for the Telemetrie Mod anyway) and a Led if wanted.

I used this bluetooth module connected to the FrSky Module to transmit the Telemetry Stream to my PC or Cellphone. At that time the Sensor hub was not out, so i tried to build my own sensor stuff. As i had big problems encoding the data, i layed the project away - but the bluetooth stuff worked fine.

Now with the Sensor hub this might get interesting again, once i'll have time i'll buy an android phone and do my own dashboard app showing the the telemetry stuff.

connecting the bt-module is quite easy. you need 3,3V to power the module and a level-converter which translates the rs232 from the frsky module to 5/3,3V TTL. This can be done as shown here:

Then just connect the TX from the FrSky to the RX of the BT module and you are done.

This would be great! Ill have to look into this modification once i get my telemetry working on my 9x, then send it to my laptop for plotting.

Does anyone know if it will cause problems with the TELEMETRY connecting to the 9X and a BT module?

Only connect the FrSky TX to the Bluetooth RX, not the BT TX to the FrSky RX and you will have no problems.
2 Receivers on one Transmitter is ok, 2 Transmitters to on Receiver is bad.
