Win7 blue screened in the middle of Vario Firmware update!

Got the USB interface today and tried to update the firmware. The vario worked “until” I tried to flash the new firmware to the vario. The Win7 blue screened in the middle of the download and now the Vario no longer talks to either the Smart Tool or the updater. I found other threads where people had the same problem (BSOD). Only problem is that I can’t find out how to bring the Vario back from the dead. Neither the Sport Tool or the firmware updater will talk to either vario.

Anyone know how to bring it back from the dead?
