Ebay.

Not cheap... £100

But does pretty much everything!

Silly thing is... I only went online to look for some replacement probes for my hand held meter. Could have spent £2.00 - but ended up spending £100 on a new one!!

Now we know why my wife thinks I like spending money...

Quick reply is back again.. was me playing :-)

I just told my boss my Megger/AVO was broken.

Since we've had 120 patrols made redundant we have a mass of tools going begging. You'd normally have to move heaven and earth to get a replacement, but at the moment they are just handing them out. That one is now taking up residence in my workshop....... :D

Harbor Freight meter is my favorite inexpensive meter. It does it all and with a flip up display. I own several and after a year on one no trouble yer. I measure caps and transistors with it as well. There is a pot inside I adjust to match my Fluke for 12 volt measurement and I made up a chart for error offset at other voltages. Many stores in my area.

I have no idea on how to ship to Canada and deal with the VAT and such but I could try if it keeps your cost low for one?
