AnyTX

Post by Spoogy »

I don't know if anyone has heard about this allready or is this complete forthless piece of information but I liked to anounce about one project called AnyTX which has been introduced in one Finnish forum.

What it is? AnyTX is a scratch made transmitter module for 9X which can be binded to well known Walkera, Nine Eagle and etc. manufacturers receivers. Also Spectrum receivers seems to accept it. It supports telemetry and I'm not sure if it will bind also with FlySky receivers.

Here are the specifications:

•STM32 Arm7 prosessor
•Cypress radio circuit, max transmitting output 2.5mW, ISM. http://www.ehirobo.com/shop/product_inf ... s_id=11530
•USB connection, programming and configurations
•Usart serial port
•PPM-input, works with all transmitters which supports ppm output
•Supports walkera, spektrum and nine eaglesin protocols
•5-10V usage voltage
•Software bases on Openpilot and deviationTX projects
•Open source
•Price about 20€

PC and Android controll is supported.

More about the project in Finnish forum Kopterit.net which is dedicated to helicopters. It's in Finnish language naturally but there's lots of photos and couple videos about the device.

It has been said that if full range is needed then one should use this device: http://www.ehirobo.com/shop/product_inf ... s_id=11530

I can ask from the author if he could create couple pieces for me. I'd like to have one also.

That's the module that is linked in the first post.

I have a DX4e coming tomorrow to mod my radio to DSM2. I guess that module could be used to get more umph.

The dx4e module contains a processor that handles the protocol, you don't have direct access to the transceiver chip as would be required.

if this thing can work with the 1st post's Devo 12s module and get full range would be great. and in the thread of the final product I don't see that devo 8s/12s in/on it either.

This project is still alive, here's a picture of the latest revision board included in this post:

Finnish people are quite competent in English, so feel free to ask questions there.
