I've looked at the instructions for a while now, but I simply can't save any of the splashes I downloaded as a hex file. I get an "error reading" message?

What I did:

Click on "load image"
Click "save to hex"


Help is appreciated!

You need to first load an existing .hex (the one for the firmware you want to use), then open the image (it will replace the original one that is in the .hex), then save the result. In the order of the buttons really

Quick question though. Is there a way to get rid of the "blank space" where my name used to be? There is a blank block impeding on the image where my name once was.

Somewhere on the RADIO SETUP screen is an option for Splash Name, set this to OFF.
