Hi guys!
I've had a troubles with 2.3.4 firmware on my X9D (rev.B) and revert to 2.2.4.
The internal XJT module was before with 2.0.1 but I decide to update it to 2.1.0
I do some flights (4) with both my RX - RX8R (updated to 2.1.0 too) and V8FR-II without troubles.
But on next take-off (with V8FR-II) when I go with little upper command (on elevator) I become a near full down, going to crash the model on the runway. The model was just at about 1m high.
What kind of poltergeist is that?!
AM I wrong with update of XJT to ver.2.1.0?!
May be have to downgrade the XJT to ver.170317?!
Thank you in advance!
Kind regards
X9D (non plus) and V8FR-II
Re: X9D (non plus) and V8FR-II
You need to look at the outputs from your transmitter to determine where the fault was.
Is it the transmitter output?
Is it a faulty servo?
Is it low power in the Rx battery?
Can you reproduce the fault on the bench?
. . . . and yes, I think 2.x.x XJT firmware is not compatible with OTx 2.2.4
etc. etc.

* Some Taranis X9D may have the compatibility issue, we do not recommend users to update this transmitter to the 2.X.X version.
Re: X9D (non plus) and V8FR-II
That warning is outdated, it was that way in 2.0.1 but they fixed it in 2.1.0. Of course they didn't update the info since the first time it was posted back in January.
Re: X9D (non plus) and V8FR-II
It is August now With that kind of information policy from FrSky I don't have the slightest desire to update my working rc equipment here and play beta-tester.
