Taranis X9D Plus Binding to S6R receiver Problem

I am a new comer to the forum and to OpenTX. I have a Taranis X9d Plus and have updated to version 2.2.3, and boot loader 2.2.3. The radio will not bind to the S6A(LBT) but binds fine to the X6R (LBT). I think that I may have updated the Transmitter to the FCC version rather than the EU version of 2.2.3.
a) how can I check which version of 2.2.3 I have loaded FCC or EU?
b) Where can I find the 2.2.3 EU version to download and flash?
Any other help would be appreciated.

If it binds OK to a X6R that is using LBT, then the Tx module is also LBT. The version of openTx doesn't matter.
When binding the S6R, make sure you keep the button pressed for a second or so after you power it on in order to enter bind mode.
Also, try different RxNums on the Tx.

Make sure you have the lastest firmware on both the receiver and the tx module (get them from Frsky). My S6R would only bind on certain numbers so try several.

The problem with only binding properly to some receiver numbers is fixed in the 20190531 firmware for the SxR.

Thanks for the suggestions, I tried different radio numbers 2-10 with no joy. Re tried binding the X6R which now fails to bind. Both the X6R and S6R appear to be showing no signal is being received. I have tried to update the S6R firmware but can not get the windows version of the STK program to run correctly on my Windows 10 laptop.
I will try again tomorrow to update the S6R hardware, Thanks for your suggestions.
