2 issues/questions.
1. It seems like my TX responds very slowly to "Model Select" - is this normal? Take well over 30 sec to respond.

2. I have set up a user interface screen for a new model but for some reason the TX does not save it. If I select another model and then come back to the new model the screen does not reflect how I had set it up. Is this a bug? I have about 10 different models setup, al work fine except for the new model
.
TIA for any help

No, unless you used inappropriately sized model images.

Your SD card might be having problems.

Shouldn't the radio just ignore inappropriately sized images then? ;) :)

No because it works, it's just slower. If you'd rather take the speed hit than bother about resizing/cropping the images it's your choice.

:D Thanks again Kilrah - it was " inappropriately sized model images"

On this radio, models are kept only on the SD Card, right? The active model remains in the radio's memory? what about if something happens, a software crash, for something reason RAM gets corrupt and the radio needs to load the model again?
Or doesn't it work this way at all? :)

The active model is in RAM and a copy is held in the battery-backed backup RAM so it can be loaded form there in case of software crash.

Does the radio have an alarm for when that battery is empty?

In the case of a software crash, as long as the main power stays on the backup RAM remains valid.
If the backup RAM is enabled to be kept from the battery, the (RTC) battery life is significantly reduced, getting close to halved.
I added code to erskyTx to read and report the (RTC) battery voltage and this has been passed to Bertrand.
For information, the lowest valid battery voltage is 1.65V
