Arduino Due add on to 9X

er9x is the best known firmware. It has a superb range of features and is well supported by the community. Well worth trying out.

Should work with no problems on 7.2V

Yes, it will. Anything from 4xAA to a fully charged 3S should be fine. I think a fully charged 4S would be the limit, but I see no reason to go there!

I know this is an older thread but it seemed to be abandoned just about the time that Smartie Parts did their pre-announcement. Has Brent taken this any farther? I know he was working on this for more than just add on for 9x transmitters. I think this project was groundbreaking and I hate to see it fade off.

cheers

Resurrecting an old thread here. Did this project with the Sky9x_core ever take off? I found it compelling.

Thanks.

EDIT: Ah, you already know about it, it's basically what it became.

I have been working on a different style of board.
This uses the same connections of the 9x.
Except it has 0.10" connections for the LCD and Menu keys

The other Core design I was working on , needed to many things to be added to use as a stand alone board.
This way it makes it easier for DIY'ers to connect and test their boards..the JST style wire harnesses are available on ebay for cheap..

Here is what the Schematic looks like.

Once the Design is tested ...
I will make the PCB Gerber files available so people can
make their own boards...So the Design is open source.
