re bind X8R problem(again)

Post by Bruce »

Hi
I recently changed my Teranis for a Teranis Plus and I cannot get my X8R to bind to the new transmitter.I have spent hours reading various threads on this and other forums I have tried all the suggested methods I can find
I had no problem binding the X8R to the original Teranis and no problems with it in use
I can only thing that it does not want to recognise the new Teranis Plus
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance
Bruce

You may be having a problem due to the 2015 EU firmware.
Please read this thread: viewtopic.php?f=97&t=6741.

Thanks Mike
Looks like that could be the answer and it sounds like I will not use the X8R but stick to D8 series.I am not a computer expert and dont want to risk getting the TX firmware etc in a knot
I think a lot of users will take the same choice
Thanks for the advice

I have two new X8R coming from Aloft Hobbies (USA) and I am hoping they are not EU firmware.
If they are EU firmware, I will have to flash them back.
