Er9x r811(?) only counts up... not down.

Post by rainless »

Hey there!

I was just messing around with my Tx and I noticed that the timer only counts up... and not down. Even if I go into the menu and set the timer to five minutes and the option to "count down" it just counts up. If I set it to count up... it also counts up. Now I'm talking about the timer you get when you press the down button four times. Or should I be looking for something else?

Also... is there a screen or menu on the TX that displays the firmware revision number?

For the revision press LEFT LONG to get to the RADIO SETUP, then press RIGHT a couple of times to get to the VERSION screen.
You are looking at Timer 2. This does only count up, Timer 1 is the one that counts up or down and also beeps (if configured) every minute.

I have, however, just finished upgrading er9x so both timers are fully configurable. There is a test version with this here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4598.

Be aware that there have been many other changes since r811. Before trying this version, make sure you backup your existing firmware and EEPROM, in case you wish to revert to them.

Here is an extract from the "changelog" file that lists the changes since r811:

For now press right button long and then right button again.. you should now be in the menu where the timers are. As soon as you configure timer 1, it will show on the screens.
