I am used to using the left slider as my throttle trim on my JR 9503.
I would like to add the LS as my throttle trim on the Taranis to act like the
"IC Throttle Trim" option in the menu.
I was able to add the slider but;
(1) The slider doesn't kick in until after the slider is at center trim
going clockwise (up)
(2) The slider works throughout the entire throttle stick range.
I want it to only work for a small % of the throttle stick travel down around
idle, say up to 10% travel or so.
Is this possible?

Using the Left Slider as Throttle Trim
I was on the road a couple of days.
Will try this out in a little bit here.
Thank you
Bob

Using the Left Slider as Throttle Trim
I made the changes to my model and it works perfectly.
I didn't mention that there are also three throttle curves in my set up, but that didn't make a difference.
What is the rule on using an open channel for a mix versus putting the mix in the main line in the Mixer screen?
Thank you again kind sir.
Have a good day!

Re: Using the Left Slider as Throttle Trim
A Multiply type mixer line multiplies everything that is above it on the same channel. As we don't want it to multiply the main throttle input but just the correction curve, it needs to be done separately.
Using the Left Slider as Throttle Trim
I'll give that some thought.
So using "Replace" won't work?
I'm slowly understanding some of the logic of the system, but as expected it takes time.
What's more helpful to a Taranis user;
Math Skills
Programming Skills,
or just knowledge of the system?
Thanks again

Re: Using the Left Slider as Throttle Trim
Just a bit of logic, and of course knowledge of the system so you know what's available to you that you could use to do things!bobnj wrote: What's more helpful to a Taranis user
