Here's how I fixed my stuck trim button. It would not move or click at all.
My solution was to flip the inner toggle around 180 degrees. It was a better fit. Put it all back together. Works just great now.
Neither the toggle nor the out part is straight. Flipping the toggle around was a way better fit and it clicks nicely now.
Are they curved by design?
Did the assembler put them together properly?
Anyways, this worked for me:)

- Notice how it is not that straight, a bit curved/concave.

- Gently pull the inner toggle out, careful not to pry it too much as not to break it.

- Now you see the toggle button, pull it out gently. It's two pieces.

- Unscrew these two screws, pull out gently.

Still working fine for me, after one year. Flipping the toggle around solved the trim sticking issue for me.
