Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB

er9x is the best known firmware. It has a superb range of features and is well supported by the community. Well worth trying out.

Ahhh, yes, didn't read about the 00:00 somehow..
My radio does the same. Timer counts up on the screen but voice counts down starting at 255 minutes..
I guess it should count up starting the announcements at 1 minute..

João

@ReSt
I think the timer should be allowed to count up without a target value.. and the voice say it correctly.. ;)
Some people just want to know how long they flew. Gliders or people with IC powered aircraft.
On my club for example, if we fly IC powered aircraft, we must log the engine running time of every flight in a log book.

I can see why there is a problem. The timer implementation is odd. The actual timer always counts in one direction, then the value displayed/used is modified depending on the direction and set time. When we only had a minute beep, the actual value didn't matter, now, for voice, it does.

I've only ever actually used a down counter when flying. I'll get to this soon, but I have a chance to do some FLYING today.

On the circuit as I designed it, there are THREE unused inputs (labelled X1, X2 and X3), on pins PC3, PC2 and PC1.
These could be used as extra switch inputs, if we can get the data to the M64.
Are these inputs easily connectable on the HC1969 Megasound board?

I would say that another 3POS switch would be very welcome as well as another momentary on the other side/back of the radio..

Thanks Mike

My card is based on the HaGeHa card.
Does not appear in X1, X2 and X3 inputs.
These treats M328P the original program?

well, it looks like that everybody will have to do a little soldering if we want the extra switches ;)
But if I remember the latest HaGeHa board has pads on those pins??

EDIT: Yes it does.. I just confirmed..

hi mhotar,
what are the dimensions of the board?
The 5 volts stabilization is no longer available?
The motherboard 5V regulator is strong enough!

Dimensions are 33x43, there is 5V and 3.3V regulator on the board, 3.3V is hidden under blue cable on the pictures.

Hi Guys,

Soldering the wires to D0,D1,D2,D3 was not so bad after getting a good magnafier!
A sign of old age?? I am using the MegaSound board.
JHSA made me a file "hay darrell are you ready to fly". Thanks JHSA,, Am I correct that I read that I need to rename this file to 0028 to have it play when the radio is turned on?
What is a good program to use when you want to open and edit
a HEX or BIN file?

Thank You,
Wrongway

Will update my sound files as soon as possible.. Shame that I can't update my own SD Card at the moment. The SD Card is under the board and I can't acess it. Board is hot glued to the case, so to update my card would have to remove the megasound9x board from the radio, which I'm not going to do after the work I had to fit all in ;)
My only option is to wait for the voice module to be able to comunicate to the PC over serial..

It would be good to have a centrally stored and updated, always up voice table because I'm not sure I follow the updates (and for me, there are things you need to put extra sounds in the blanks)!
