Looks like this replaces the AS3X system also.

Yes.. but the eagle tree systems are a little more flexible.. at a slightly higher price.

They do work well :-)
Slope Soaring, FPV, and pretty much anything 'high tech'
...........if you think it should be in the wiki.. ask me for wiki access, then go add it!

I got my module today. Unfortunately it's one of the first batch, so works with a JR Tx but not 9x (I haven't tried a short frame length). They are sending me a new one, but meanwhile it's OK in my XP9303.

For an explantation of how the module handles DSM2/DSMX see my post here:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=23370692

What it boils down to is that you have to tell the module what kind of receiver it's dealing with if you change from one to the other.

Have you any way of looking at the PPM stream from the JR Tx? If so we might be able to see why it has trouble with the PPM stream from the 9x.
We wopuld like to know voltage, polarity of pulses, width of pulses, number of pulses and length of the sync pulse.
