Hi There,
Would love some help! I updated my TGY 9X (M64) with er9x (I have done this many times and pinout was correct). Firmware finished writing and radio booted after update. I then wrote Models to the radio, however, I believe that the usbasp fell into the radio when I next tried to power it on (must have touched/shorted something). Turned the radio on and the screen is dead – no beeps etc on key presses/trim.
I connected usbasp to M64 again and can read and write firmware successfully, however, I now cannot write eeprom using eepe. Every time I try to write, the write process finishes successfully, but during the read/verification the error “mismatch found” shows. The eeprom does not update, so when I try to read the models back using usbasp anyway there is nothing there (blank eeprom). I have used eepe to reset fuses to factory and then set to protect eeprom – no change.
I have tested Battery/5v/3.3v as per attached and all voltages are OK.

I does seem very likely that the processor is no longer working, odd that the flash reads/writes but the EEPROM does not.
Do you think you would be able to solder in a new processor?

I’m going to give it a go. I have an M128 to replace it with. Any tips on programming it once installed?
Do I just do that via eepe?

Yes, just use eepe and flash er9x-128.
