I have had an OpenXsensor in operation for some years. (In fact, I have two of them).
When I got an old glider out and tried it, the telemetry all worked, including the vario tone, altitude and the GPS.
Tonight all is still working except the "regular" vario tone. It beeps at about 50 cycles/second and does not change with change in pressure when I elevate or lower the plane.
The vertical speed indication is still working on the transmitter telemetry display, however.
I did flash the sketch again. No change.
Is this a OpenXsensor problem, or a problem in my Taranis X9D Plus transmitter?
Edit:
I just checked a second model that also has an OpenTxsensor vario, and it is working normally. Suggests I may have an arduino nano board fault?
It would be a fairly simply process to flash another board, and give that a go I expect.
If anyone can assist, I would much appreciation it.
Thanks,
Jim.
Vario tone now not working properly.

Re: Vario tone now not working properly.
I have tried two different arduino nano boards and two different sketches.
The result is the same.
The only things remaining to swap out is the baro sensor and maybe the transmitter. I have another tx. operating on OTx.
Jim.

Did you verify that variosource for your model is set to VSpeed?
