Why is my receiver battery always critical?
Why is my receiver battery always critical?
Recently I've been getting more warnings "Receiver battery critical" from my Taranis Plus X9D. As look at it now, the telemetry screen (main screen + long press of Page button) is showing A1=4.91v <4.86 >5.07, but the setup telemetry menu is showing A1 channel 4.91v, range 13.2v, offset 0.00v, low alarm 3.98v, critical alarm 3.46v. Can anyone help me understand this please? Why is it making this warning when the A1 voltage is well above the critical value?
Re: Why is my receiver battery always critical?
Probably your power supply isn't adequate and falls under load.
Re: Why is my receiver battery always critical?
Thanks, Kilrah. This happens on all my models at the moment, some with batteries for the Rx and some electric flight ones with Rx power coming from the speed controller. The telemetry shows A1 voltage higher than the alarm values at all times, yet it still complains!
Re: Why is my receiver battery always critical?
I've found a programming error from copying one model to several new ones. Removed the offending line and it's working normally now.
