Jumper T12 - USB damaged

Post by CatRovacer »

I got the Jumper T12 Pro. Also have Taranis QX7.
Firmware opentx (2.3) on both.
When X7 connected via USB cable, QX7 is determined, assigned, works well.
When I connect the Jumper T12 via USB cable, there is no reaction from the computer OS.
On another "driver skilled" ;) laptop, when connecting, there was a message that the current was too high.
Questions:
I checked the connection of SOME (not all) contacts from the cable to the soldering points of the USB connector on the T12 board.
But I didn't have time to check everything. Show most go on at evening.

1. what could be?
My versions are -
A. damage of USB protection circuits
B. damage of relevant ports of the MCU
2. I am looking for a connection diagram from USB to STM32F205VE5 for a generic case.
3. Looking for a circuit diagram from the USB connector to the MCU ports for this T12 radio

I removed the 10 pin IC for battery charge on the board (in the lower left corner)
USB works. But the battery needs to be charged with an external charger.

Jumper unfortunately have difficulties making a charger that doesn't blow up.

10 pin IC recognized as CS5086E
https://html.alldatasheet.com/html-pdf/ ... 5086E.html
The most discouraging inconsistency in its application is the charge current declared as 1A, but charge current for two full discharged 3Ah 18650 may be reached 2A.
Ofcourse CS5086E must die blow up

I will not soldering a new chip. ТНХ
