Horus X12S radio sim in Companion

Hi guys, can't seem to find any previously answered question of how to get the small red joystick on the bottom left of the radio simulator to work in Companion 2.3 - any ideas?
This would simulate input for JXs and JYs
(I've tried using the mouse to move left/right, up/down but no joy)
