Comeback

er9x is the best known firmware. It has a superb range of features and is well supported by the community. Well worth trying out.

An update.
The 9x with the stock board seems to be ok according to you guys.
This morning I grabbed the sky9x and managed, without any problems, to install the latest stable version (r221), and update the coprocessor to 107. Is this the most recent?
However, there is something I would like to change, the voices.
With the opentx I had installed, all voice prompts where in my native language (portuguese-pt), and with ersky9x I have to use english. That is not a problem, but I would prefere in portuguese from portugal (not brasil). Are they availiable?
I could use the ones I have, but I need to remane them, because they dont match to the ones used by ersky9x. For example, when I power the radio it anounces (in portuguese) 28, or if I move the throttle up is says 27.

I am Portuguese but I use English.. You can use TTSAutomate to generate a Portuguese Voice Pack. But you need to provide the file to generate it. So, I think your best option is to rename your files :)
Also, ErskyTX might not handle the Portuguese numbers correctly. I don't know if OpenTX did. Numbers like Cento e vinte e cinco..

Sorry guys for the lack of feedback, but in the last few days I have been tinkering with the firmware in the radios and the flight controllers in the quads, trying to get back up to date.
On question if someone can help me or point me in the right direction, although it may be off topic.
As mentioned in previous posts, I managed to flash er9x on a turnigy 9x with a stock board and erskytx on a turnigy 9x with sky9x board. I would like to test opentx in the sky9x board but I dont know how flash it. On the radio with the stock board I managed to do it, but went back to er9x, but I dont know how to do it with the sky board.
I assume I cant flash it through the radio. Can I do it with companion?

ERSky9x was developed specifically for the Sky board, as the name implies. Mike B was the developer and still supports it here.

I know, and it's a great firmware, but I would like to try openTX for the sky board, and if I don't like it I go back to Ersky9x, like I did in the stock board.

Then, just download and install companion, download the openTX firmware for skyboard using companion, and flash it.

Thank João. Just that? No problems doing that having Ersky9x installed? And if I want to go back to Ersky9x just flash it with eepe?

No, you flash it with Eepskye. Eppe is for Er9x, Eepskye is for ErskyTX (Ersky9x).

Make sure you save the radio eeprom to your computer, so you don't lose your models and settings before you flash the firmware.
Models are not compatible.. Better saying, eeprom from openTX and ErskyTX are not compatible.

What's the name of the wav file that plays in ErskyTX when the radio is shut down. Can't find it in the voice folder.
