X9D - Stuttering Noise and no startup

When i tried to switch on my X9D, all I got is flashing of the screen with some ‘stuttering’ noise, but Taranis Will not start up. See attached video.

When starting up in resetmode, screen works normal. When I exit, noise begins Alain.
I tried disconnecting battery and the module in backboard but no help there.
Suggestions?

Has this just starting to happen, or have you done any firmware updates?

Just like that. (Have to say I bought it second hand). Worked for two days and then gave me this when I started it up the third time.

Make sure your SD card located in the battery compartment is fitted properly...

Tried SD card, but did not help.

Might be worth trying to reflash the firmware.

Take the SD card from the Taranis. Backup the card content on your computer.

A 1GB SD card is totally sufficient for use.

Uh no, it's impossible to find a card too small. Card might be corrupted, or filled with logs you could delete.

Also did the complete Oscar Liang works (Open tx), but also no help there. Something else broken?

Yeah, really sounds like there's a hardware fault.

But isn’t it strange then that the screen works perfectly on the set-up screens? (I used them to flash it).
Could TX module cause this?

You could try flashing ersky9x and see if that is any different.

This happened to my X9D SE. Sent it to Aloft, and they replaced the mainboard, after I tried most of the fixes listed above.

I'm thinking it must be some kind of a hardware problem. Curious to hear if board replace helped out...
