er9x is the best known firmware. It has a superb range of features and is well supported by the community. Well worth trying out.

Switch from dht to xjt

Post by nunofsferrazfpv »

Hi i have a problem maybe someone can help. I have the turnigy 9X with all thw mods done. I have fhe DHT module installed and the telemetry mod. I want to install the XJT module to be able to use D16 mode. What i did is removed the DHT and also removed the telemetry mod. I installed then the XJT module. I can bind to any rx weather in D8 or D16 but i get no response on my quad. Do I need to change the firmware on the 9X. What am I doing wrong.

Did you select XJT in the protocol ?
Which used to be called (labeled) PXX protocol (PXX which is what it is).

The XJT also sends telemetry as inverted serial over the bottom pin of the module connector. If your telemetry mod included a buffer/inverter on this pin, then you probably want to keep that.
