Bob, I DO know the Gimbal voltages on the PRO and the older 9XR.
I DO NOT know what voltages the Futaba radio puts on the Gimbals. That is why I asked.
If you don't know the radios and don't even have one, why are you even mentioning them? We know that those gimbals were made for the 9XR-PRO radio originally. I doubt they were made for the old 9XR, because this one has 5V at the gimbals, and the PRO has only 3.3V.
This is WHY I'm asking the voltage on the Futaba radio. If the voltage is greater than the 3.3V needed by the gimbal, it could explain the thing getting broken.
I know that we all like to help people, but we must minimally know what we are talking about
Suggesting that he buy Taranis gimbals, or even a Taranis radio, won't help him fixing his gimbal. He wants a 3 axis gimbal, I don't think the taranis has any?

EDIT: I have just did some research and they actually did advertise the gimbal for the old 9XR radio also. I find this very strange as the hall effect sensors ( at least the ones that I know) don't like working on both 3.3V and 5V voltages.
I really suspect that some too high voltage on the gimbals could have killed both units that he installed on his radio..
