Hey,
My Turnigy 9x's throttle stick is a bitch to move up and down. Is there a magic adjustment under the hood that would fix this? I can't get a smooth response from the throttle to help land my quad...its like all or nothing movement. HALP!!!

There is a metal strap, held by two screws, that provides the friction. One of the screws goes through an elongated hole in the strap and allows adjustment of the amount of friction.

Thanks for the fast response! I've taken this strap completely off and it made no difference.MikeB wrote:There is a metal strap, held by two screws, that provides the friction. One of the screws goes through an elongated hole in the strap and allows adjustment of the amount of friction.

I can only suggest there is something binding in the gimbal itself.

With the strap off, the stick should be completely free to move.
Re: Turnigy 9x Throttle difficult to move stick!
You would think so. The stick does move but it takes an effort to do unlike the elevator stick. No finess moves here! I think the gimbal may be bad so I've ordered a Taranis gimbal to replace it.Daedalus66 wrote:With the strap off, the stick should be completely free to move.

You should have ordered 2 and replace both

I should of purchased 2 of them but I am cheap... besides why fix something that's not broken. The other one works fine and probably after I get through installing the new one the radio won't work anyway. , I'll just screw it up and have to buy a new Taranis IF, that doesn't happen then, I will know how to do the other one in the future! Win, win.
Anyway to get me started on the right direction, are there any videos/instructions on how to replace the Taranis gimbal in a Turnigy 9x transmitter?
Thanks heaps,
Denny
