increase the signal range of the Turnigy

is it possible with an amplifier to increase the signal range of the Turnigy?

What sort of range are you getting now? Are you using the Turnigy stock RX? ... Most of us are using Frsky DJT modules along with there receivers. The range of them is impressive.

Does anybody bother with the 1W wifi booster or/and 5dbi antenna. Or is just using the frsky enough

What are you trying to do with this?
Flaps 30 is correct that Frsky is good for out of normal. sight control. A 1 watt booster may cause rf trouble to your tx circuitry or flyers next to you so that's something to consider. If you're flying alone I guess it's what ever doesn't mess with your tx.
It's always better to trade up in quality then to brute force the signal.
Answer flaps 30 usage question and more answers will probably be posted.

Just for information, when we see that the Chinese offert a video transmitters to 1Watt (a nearly 4 Km can they say)

What Showmaster has said is worth noting.

Before you head off and buy that 1 Watt amplifier. You should be made aware that in France you have a legal power limit of 100mW.. That is 0.1 Watts from your antenna on 2.4 Ghz. It should be noted that the power level are Effective Radiated Power which includes antenna gain. So you can almost half the power that the transmitter is allowed to generate to something like 60mW if you include the gain of the antenna.

It would help us if you gave us some idea of what you are trying to do and what results you have had so far with your existing equipment.
