Open TX Wizard

Post by SteveH »

I have converted my Taranis to Open TX 2.0.15 and loaded Open TX companion on to my desktop.
Open TX companion has the model wizard working correctly but I can't seem to get it to work on the Taranis.
I have followed the instructions on Scott Page's excellent video - downloaded the zip file, extracted the zip file and placed the contents onto the Taranis SD card.
I have tried placing the contents into a file called TEMPLATES, and also into a file called TEMPLATES/SCRIPTS/WIZARD.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

The files go in SCRIPTS/WIZARD (SCRIPTS is off the SD card root) NOT TEMPLATES/SCRIPTS/WIZARD.

Hi Folks,
I am trying to get the wizard to work on My Taranis 2.0.8.
I have downloaded the Wizard file and unzipped it.
I have accessed the Taranis SD card (removable drive E)
I am tying to create a folder on the Taranis SD card as per instructions... /SCRIPTS/WIZARD ...my computer says that I cannot use / in the file name.
Where am I going wrong please?

Thanks, Martin

That means make a WIZARD folder inside the SCRIPTS folder.

Hi Kilrah,

Thank you for the answer, I just tried that and it works a treat. Thank you for your help with the logical switch also.

What may be obvious to computer literate chap may not be obvious to us all, how about making that clear in the instructions....

Ta Martin
