Bearing in mind that the Taranis is really designed for thumb flyers, rather than the more precise pinch method flyers that we have in Europe who tend to prefer tray tray format transmitters that lend themselves to additional switches/pots or whatever on stick ends.. Which leads me to suspect that we are not going to see anything (unless the Horus proves different) along the lines of what you are looking for as the main market for 'toy' thumb style transmitters in the States is far bigger than tray flyers and that dictates what manufacturers build.

I have modified two 9X transmitters that now sport stick end push buttons on the throttle/flap stick. Sadly the stick switch units I used are no longer available as they are from a few decades back when Micron produced transmitter kits. Here is what I did with the MK1 unit. -----> viewtopic.php?f=48&t=5324

I think it would be useful to look at how multiplex handle some of their transmitters.

They can work as well in either tray or non tray format.

Time will tell..
