All of my buzzing experience is with original battery. I upgraded to the larger capacity NiMh and there is no change.

The noise is somewhat tolerable, and would like to use the battery for added flight time, my concern is, if its affecting the audio, is it affecting any other area i.e.. the transmitter board itself?
as someone in an earlier post said (and I've duplicated), by shielding or repositioning the antenna you can change the level of the buzzing. this concerns me..

Have you tried any of the fixes in this thread?

My buzz is long gone. But end millage varies per user.

It does not affect anything else. No need go worry in that regard.

Great to know Rob, I was more concerned than annoyed, the instant I fold out my antenna, its gone, so it really don't think it warrants taking it apart. thanks for setting me at ease.

Well I tried a 470 uF cap and it helped but I have just found 1500uF Cap from an old motherboard and it makes all the difference - I still get an occasional click but I will try the 'no click' mod soon

There are several other fixes in the RCG hardware hacks thread. Will not link to the pages here just in case it is not permitted, but I am going to try the shielded cable mod as it looks easier (for old boys with bad eyesight) than the cap mods :)

I will try thin coaxial cable such as RG 179 or 174 as it is flexible and only about 3.0 mm in diameter.

Today I added another two ferrite clamps to the same leads.

I can now run full volume - with no buzz!

Rob, what size clamps did you use?

Sadly, all Taranis radios buzz. Rearranging wires inside the radio might lessen the effect. So might changing the antenna angle. It is a flaw in the design of the radio, not a production problem.

I think this is ultimative solution for dirty audio signals on Taranis Rev.B :
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost ... count=2031

You get 3 solutions:
(a) better output for earphones
(b) filter for RF buzz and alternative connections of loudspeaker on PCB
(c) filter for click
