Shipping to delaers right now.
US preorders from Aloft was a raging hell, his site was brought down during several hours by a huge number of crazy buyers far outnumbering the already large number of available units...

No doubt we will be seeing a lot of these transmitters on Ebay soon at inflated prices, as the quick buck merchants get into gear. I wonder if each buyer is being limited to one transmitter to try to be fair to all and to keep the sharks at bay.

Talking of Sharks. I will have to keep an eye open to see when Giantshark has them in stock.

I wonder how many aloft put up for sale?

If Wayne recovers from purgatory
maybe he'll tell us.

One issue that tripped up those that don't read every word is that his email notice said "7a pst and 5p pst". They crashed his server at 7A DST and 5P DST. I took a chance at 6:14p DST that's actually 5:14p PST and the purchase option popped up so I clicked on it.
Was it fair? I don't know, it was ok for me. We all had a chance at it. I saw it I bought it, what's to complain about?
It's like eBay, win a few lose a few bids.
I do both.

Giantshark sold me a lot of Frsky DJT and RXs. Great service and they also sent me an official Frsky hat in one of my orders last year.
One of my favorites.

Aloft has become my favorite stateside. I wonder if aloft will carry Frsky hats?
Hint.

The first orders were placed this week and radios are "on the water". I've been using one borrowed from the winner of one delivered special in advance for a charity fund raiser. And I posted a video of the insides on youtube.

Well. They left the factory last week - air mail!

No doubt sorting themselves out with customs!

Believe they where delayed leaving the factory.

But not 100% sure why or what the reason was.

They had FCC approval but were awaiting the paper copies before the shipped them so they would not be detained in customs for an extended period of time. Paper copies received, I believe they are in route now.

But I'm getting really nervous because my prediction on March 4th ( http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost ... count=2130 was they would be available in June... I've got two days to go. ;) I'd hate to be wrong.

If the 2 days don't cut it I'm afraid you'll have to fallback on the "I didn't say which year" excuse :P

Or which calendar... the Gregorian is by far the most common, but certainly not the only. June in the Scottpagonian calendar is similar, but shifted by the precise number of days the X9D is delayed. Convenient, no?

July 1st Monday. I guess the June deadline is not happening. Actually if the systems have been shipped from china and are in transit the late June statement is true.

Trainer port level?
Will the Taranis trainer port work with the newer TXs that output lower ppm levels? TXs like JR, and Spektrum?
I'm assuming that the 5v ppm input from a 9x will work but what about lower level ppm?
What about the the ppm output level from the Taranis?

Any rumors on a release date for Taranis schematics? I'm hoping it'll not be kept secret.
Any word on repair station plans?
If so what is the requirement to apply for this status?
Probably a question for Frsky but with all the development time involved I would think that's need discussed with the shops that will sell the Taranis.

They were shipped from China by FedEx the end of the week. It's just Customs wait now. Wayne will probably be a busy beaver sometime this next week.

Trainer output is 3.3V

Trainer input has a transistor circuit so should work down to around 0.8V pk-pk.
