New Taranis X7S wont power on

I am new to this, so bear with me

I just received a new Taranis X7S, but it won't turn on.

When I press the power-on button, it the speaker makes a little clicking sound and the led in the button is green.
When I release the button, the led goes off.

When press both horizontal trims inward and I press the power-on button, the screen goes on and I can see the Bootloader version 2.3.9.
Then when I choose exit, the screen goes off again, it makes the clicking sound again from the speaker and the led turns on green.
At this point nothing happens and I need to remove the battery to get the led turned off.

I tried flashing new firmware using these tutorials:

So I hope anybody has an idea what this can be.

How do you download and where do you get the firmware for QX7? Via Companion? Check which radio type in setting?

Yes, I used OpenTX Companion, there I selected the correct model, and I downloaded the firmware.
I also tried the firmware from the original site from FrSky:

Not sure if there are any settings there that I have missed?

Put the file in the FIRMWARE folder on the card, then flash it from the bootloader.

Putting the firmware on the sd card makes no difference.
After successfully flashing it (get no errors), I select exit in the bootloader menu, the screen goes off and the power led goes on.
Then the transmitter doesn't react on any button and the only way to get to led go off is to remove the battery

This happens when the MCU is flashed with an unsuitable firmware file, for example, for another radio. That's why I asked which and how to flashing the firmware.
I assume the hardware is work - the bootloader is initialized and working.
Detach any RF module from bay?

Very strange, I left the device disconnected from the battery.
This morning I connected the battery and it turns on now!

But now it starts with a message on the screen: EEPROM WARING, EEprom Data v217
Then I push a button and it's saying Converting EEProm and it continues normally.
But next time I turn it on, it gives the same message again.

Maybe I need to flash or restore the eeprom?

Sounds like a hardware fault, would have it replaced under warranty...

I followed another tutorial to update the firmware:

After that I still got the eeprom message, so I performed a factory reset in the menu of the transmitter.

Now it seems like it's working fine, the message is gone.
All software versions are up to date.

See if it operates correctly though, the message shouldn't have reappeared unless there is some problem writing to the eeprom chip.

As a new bee it's difficult to say.
But until now, I don't see any issues.
I configured all kind of settings, like timers, switches and channels, bound it to my new Tiny Hawk II and I can fly with it.

But at this point I am very happy with it
