Hello,

Needing values on RF Board components - D3, D5, L4, C2, C26, C34, C46 and C50

I would greatly appreciate anyone that can help me with these or could supply me with a schematic or if nothing else a good close up picture!

THANK YOU!!!!!!

It is a Taranis X9D Plus, board rev. 0.2 and had antenna IPX connecter if that helps any.

If he asks about the components it's likely becasue he damaged it himself and is looking to repair it himself as well.

Hi Kilrah,
Note-ed !

If you look closely, my first zoomed-in pic shows what looks to be poorly soldered by the manufacturer.
So the damage maybe caused from this area.

Hello Bob, I Just bought this radio "as is" and someone had done a real bad "antenna upgrade" and hot glued the antenna wire to the RF board, when I pulled the glue, off came the components with the glue. They had the antenna soldered to the ipex connector instead of removing it. I did notice the crappy soldering done from the factory. Supposedly it worked before hand.

Hi itsmerandy,

No warranty then. :(

If Kilrah and/or others think they can help you with repairing the damage
and you have the equipment and skill to do it, that will be great ! :)

Another option may be to purchase a replacement Backboard with Internal XJT Module.
You may want to check with, (if in the USA) Aloft Hobbies ($46.00 + shipping).
Check it out here: (https://alofthobbies.com/frsky-taranis- ... odule.html).

oops, I see they are Out of stock, may have to check around to find one.
Would not hurt to call Aloft Hobbies to see if they could help.

Maybe (if it would not damage it too) an external XJT module may work:

Hello Bob, Yeah I seen that Aloft Hobbies had this board but was out of stock unfortunately. But I would like to repair this board if I can find someone that knows the values of these components. I would really love to have a good stock picture of this board too as it looks like someone else has done some soldering in a few spots and I would like to compare it to an original board.

Unfortunately I do not have the x9d-plus.
I have the x9d which is different then your radio.

Maybe Kilrah can help as he know a lot more then I do.

A little tip for removing hot glue.
Apply some alcohol over it, wait a few seconds, and it will come off..

Too late I know :(

I wish we could guess the problems before they happen :)
