Receiver numbers when two modules used.

I built a camera module that can be moved from plane to plane. It's build around a DSM2 receiver for the pan and tilt. I use a DSM2 hack module in my Taranis to run the camera and the internal XJT module for the plane's controls.

The trouble is that the receiver numbers have to match when you set up to use both the internal and external modules. That means I have to rebind the camera module so that model match responds to each different airplane.

My question is, do the receiver numbers for both modules HAVE to match? Would it be possible to allow different receiver numbers in a future release?

Receiver numbers are already separate...

There are separate but setting one automatically sets the other to the same number, at least in OpenTx 2.0.15. I've never been able to set them to different numbers in the transmitter. You can set them to unique numbers in Companion.

Hah never even noticed that, there is indeed only one ID for the entire model.

You can open an enhancement issue on Github, sounds simple but it's actually a complex change that requires a setting format change so it needs to be done in a major release. With a bit of luck it could still be done for 2.1 as we haven't frozen the format yet.
