Taranis Plus Haptic feedback not working?

Hi,
I just received my taranis Plus and everything's working fine but the haptic feedback,
the Firmware version is 2.0.9
In the Radio setup I have set it to "ALL" and "length" "strenght" set to max value,
I also tried to assign the custom function "haptic" to a switch but it doesnt work...any clues?

I just bumped another thread about this. I added the module a few months ago but it never worked. Will update my Taranis to see whether this was accidentally fixed in the meantime.

I found something similar after I installed a haptic module in my X9D . You need to download the firmware with the HAPTIC function enabled.
Go to the SETTINGS menu in Companion and ensure that you check the box for HAPTIC.

You'll be given a prompt to say that you've not downloaded this before, accept this and carry on.

You should find that works once you install the new firmware.

I fixed the problem in the end. It was the polarity of the wires on the haptic board. D'oh!
