Alerts when timer has gone past zero

Post by CraigKane »

Is there a way to have some kind of audible alert once the flight timer has gone past zero?
(Apart from the crunch of a model falling from the sky having run out of battery)

My reasoning is for when trialing new battery setups and you know that the flight time will be longer but you don't want to change the timer settings on the model memory at this time. I'm thinking of a way of letting you know every minute that you've gone over time if possible?

I dont have the Taranis, but with a TGY9x I can do

Logical switch:
L1 a<x Tmr1 00:00 ID1

and special functions:
PlayVal Tmr1 L1 10

Will tell you the timer value every 10 seconds

That's great. I'll give that a try.

Just done this too, on my Series-A Taranis running the latest firmware...........excellent !!.

My usual standard flight time for slope gliders is set 20 minutes, but if the air and lift is in my favour......I'll stop up for anything up to two hours !!. Having the verbal minus counter is a real bonus......
