Problems with C9X and Taranis X9D Bad EEPROM

Hi!

I've just installed C9X, and it connected fine to my radio.

I downloaded the setting to the computer, made a simple edit of model name, and tried to upload the new file to eeprom.
The program seems to not respond, and suddenly a progress bar at 100% shows up, and a dialog that says "file save complete" (or something like it).

The radio does not respond until i unplug the USB, and when it starts back up, it gives me an error message about bad EEPROM, and it formats the EEPROM and I need to calibrate pots, sliders and sticks. All memory lost.

What am I doing wrong?

Which versions of Companion and the transmitter firmware are you using?
Your problem sounds a lot like you are using an incompatible combination.
