I have a taranis and a dr4-ii receiver. Even after jumpering pins 3/4 and setting my flight controller (openpilot revo/GCS) I can't seem to get 8 channels from it, all I get is ch1 making it to the FC. I seem to remember I had to do something in the radio the last time I used CPPM but for the life of me I can't figure out what!
Thanks for you time.
How do I enable CPPM in the taranis?
Re: How do I enable CPPM in the taranis?
Check that FrSky XJT D-8 is set for RF Module 1 in the model Setup tab, start ch1, and maybe only Channels 1-7 max unless you have changed the firmware in the Rx. Make sure the jumper on the Rx is on the signal pins of ch 3/4.

Re: How do I enable CPPM in the taranis?
Thank you for your reply, I think I have the settings right,
Mode: D8
Channel Range: CH1-8 (I tried changing this to 1-7)
Jumper on the RX is on the two signal pins of 3/4 (furthest away from 1/2)
I'm using the openpilot GCS software and it won't register the throttle (can't get past it) in PPM. I have hardware set with reciever port: PPM
Firmware is opentx-r2940

Re: How do I enable CPPM in the taranis?
PPM output is completely independent from the radio. The jumper is all you need to put.
Are other channels recognised by your board?

So, I got this figured out! I had the cable for the OP revo reversed...
